Physical travel creates mental space. I’ve found that many of the best ideas often come when one is thousands of miles from the familiar, in a hotel somewhere new (and most likely too jet lagged to sleep).
Hence, hotel paper. A previous incarnation of this blog became the virtual hotel paper where I would jot down these ideas and explore them further.
